No. Trimming is done only vertically (Y) so the trimming line runs along with the roll and also can be wound on the automatic rewind unit. You can easily trim it horizontally by hand on location, or for example on the Neolt electrotrim machines.
Trimmer is only an option with the Shield and Shield+.
